Wiring

  1. Connect Wire 1 (Pump On) from the 7-Conductor cable to the 6022D contact block on the pump.
Blue Jumper on INT #'s 1-5
  2. Connect Wire 2 (Low Pressure) from the 7-Conductor cable to the 6022 contact block.
  3. Connect Wire 3 (Common) on the 7-Conductor cable to 6022A. Wires 6022A, 6022C, 6022E, 6023A, and 6023C should already be jumpered together on INT #'s 1-5 at Point A2. If the blue jumper (see photo) isn't there, then you will need to jumper these wires together at the terminal block.
  4. Connect Wire 4 (24VDC) on the 7-Conductor cable to 6023B.
  5. The last step is to remove the jumper between 5024A and 5024B, otherwise you wont be able to remote E-Stop the pump.

When you're done, it should look something like the following:

How it Works

The Accustream pump expects two signals to turn the pump on and off, so basically we have to give it 24VDC on the "pump off signal" when we want it to turn off. There are 4 relays or interlocks in the pump electrical cabinet labeled INT-1 to INT-4 (there is an INT-5 on newer pumps).

INT-1
Low Pressure
INT-2
E-Stop
INT-3
Pump On
INT-4
Now Spare
INT-5; (on newer pumps)

"One of those is (cooling mode) and one is (pump enable)." - (Skeeter 2/3/12)

(The following is an old style so "DON'T hook it up like this." - (Skeeter 2/3/12))

INT-4 by default is Pump Off, we need to instead use the NC contact from INT-3 so remove the wire from INT-4 Contact 14 (NO) wire #6023(pumpoff) to INT-3 Contact 12 (NC). Maker sure wire #6031 goes to Contact 14(N0), and that #5010 (24VDC-Pump) goes to contact 11.

E-Stop

Lastly we need to make sure the E-Stop from our machine E-Stops the pump Remote E-Stop Wires are 5024A and 5024B

  1. Connect 5024A to INT-2 Contact 11
  2. Connect 5024B to INT-2 Contact 14
  3. Remove the Jumper between 5024A and 5024B
